Bright Elementary welcomed the LAPD Mounted Platoon on Friday, December 13th, for a festive holiday event. Santa made a grand entrance riding Rudolph, followed by 12 reindeer with officers atop them, while an LAPD helicopter circled overhead to join the excitement. Students delighted in receiving gifts and visiting with the reindeer. The celebration was made even more special with the attendance of LAUSD Superintendent Alberto Carvalho, Dr. Denise Collier, Region West Superintendent, and members of the news media who captured the joyful occasion.

Bright Elementary dio la bienvenida al pelotón montado de LAPD el viernes 13 de diciembre para un evento festivo. Santa hizo una gran entrada montando a Rudolph, seguido por 12 renos con oficiales encima de ellos, mientras un helicóptero de LAPD sobrevolaba en círculos para unirse a la emoción.
